Become a Member

The World Halal Council (WHC) is a global federation of halal certifying bodies dedicated to strengthening halal integrity, standardization, and international collaboration. By joining WHC, your organization becomes part of a recognized network of halal authorities working to uphold ethical and transparent halal certification worldwide.

Membership Levels

WHC offers two categories of membership:

Full Membership

  • Open to current paid-up WHC members and bona fide Muslim halal certifying organizations that have served as an Associate Member for at least two years.

Associate Membership

  • Open to bona fide halal certifying bodies Associate Members with certifying authority may apply for Full Membership after two years.

Who Can Apply?

  • ✅ Halal certifying bodies, entities, or organizations
  • ❌ Individual applicants are not eligible
